7th Annual Battle for Vegas Charity Softball Game: Golden Knights vs. the Raiders at Las Vegas Ballpark. Fourth year shooting this event for Real Vegas Magazine.

First time seeing USAF Thunderbirds fly… was in 1973. They were flying the F-4 Phantom at the time. The show has stayed the same since then, really....its just the planes that have changed. These guys fly F-16's now.

I had a preconceived notion of what I wanted to shoot before I even got to the game. I’ve been watching these guys for 50+ years. I knew exactly where they were going to be, so.. I shot this with a 50mm 1.8 ( portrait lens ) and waited for them to fly right over my head.

After the game, the pilots who actually flew these aircraft walked up to me and were honestly blown away by the shot. When they asked me how I did it. Their response was..."Wow, you did that?"
